At Sea The Mayflower was a ship that left England in 1620. The people on the ship were going to America for a better life.

Today, we call these people the Pilgrims.

Searching for a New Home The Mayflower sailed for two months. The Pilgrims landed far from where they wanted to be.

They made a new home where they landed.

A Long Winter Winter was hard. It was cold, and there was not enough to eat. Many Pilgrims died before spring.
