A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

There once was a sheepdog named Millie. She looked after sheep on a farm. One day, Millie saw that one sheep was missing. " Where's Dolly?" Millie asked.

" Why don't you ask the goats?" said one sheep. " They have been acting nervous, " the sheep added. Millie asked the goats if they knew anything.

An old goat said, " Yesterday, I looked over the wall. I saw a wolf covered in sheep's wool. " He added, " He was leading Dolly into the forest. "

Millie thought. Where would a wolf get wool? Then she looked in the barn where the sheep got their haircuts. That gave her an idea.

Millie told the sheep her plan. She covered herself with wool so she looked like a sheep, too.
