Introduction Do you ever walk to school or the park? You might have to cross the street to get there.

Some streets are busy with traffic. Other streets are not busy.

You must always cross the street safely.

How to Cross It is a good idea to cross the street with an adult. Before you cross, stop at the street corner.

Look for traffic. Look left, right, and left again. Check left last. That is where traffic is closest to you. You can cross when you do not see any cars or all cars are stopped. Do not run, but walk quickly across the street.
