Scorpions

Scorpions are arachnids. Spiders and ticks are arachnids, too.

All arachnids have a hard shell. All arachnids have two body parts and eight legs.

Scorpions also have a pair of claws. Scorpions use their claws to grab prey.

Scorpions also have a long tail. At the end of the tail is a stinger. The stinger has venom in it.

Scorpions use their tail to sting animals that try to hurt them. Scorpions use their tail to sting prey, too. Scorpions come out at night to hunt for prey.
