Pedro's Burro

There were many burros in Pedro's village.

Pedro wanted a burro of his own.

Grandfather gave him a little gray burro.

“ You can ride your burro to the village, " Grandfather said. “ She can carry your water jugs from the well, " he added. " She can pull the wagon when you bring wood for the fire, " he said.

But when Pedro went to the village, he walked. His little burro walked beside him.
