The Elf Clubhouse

Roxy looked outside. The Electric Elves ran to their motorcycles. Zap! Electricity shot from the elf leader's hand. All the motorcycles started up. Rumble! Rumble! The Electric Elves hopped onto the motorcycles and rode away.

“ Grr! ” Roxy stamped her foot. “ The elves’clubhouse is really far from here. And I can't fly! ” Roxy sighed. “ I've lost my super powers. But I'm still Rocket Girl. And Rocket Girl can still stop those elves! ” Roxy went outside and stomped down the street. A few people stared at her.

“ That’s strange, " said a man with a dog. “ Rocket Girl is taking a walk! ” “ Why aren't you flying, Rocket Girl?" asked a little girl. Roxy sighed and kept walking. Finally she got to the Electric Elves’clubhouse. She was tired and she was mad!

The elves’motorcycles were parked in front of the clubhouse. Electricity buzzed all around them. Roxy kicked a motorcycle hard. Zap! Zap! “ Whoa! " Roxy felt another shock. Electricity buzzed through her again. And then suddenly . . .

Whiz-hoo! Her eye laser beams fired! The elves'motorcycles exploded into little pieces. “ Yes! ” Roxy cheered. “ Rocket Girl is back! ” Roxy used her X-ray vision and looked into the clubhouse. The elves were sitting at a table and playing cards.
