Metro City Grand Hotel was hosting a fancy party. All of Metro City's richest people were there. “ What a lovely party! ” said a woman with a diamond necklace. “ Yes, it is, ” said another woman. She had a large ruby pinned to her dress. Suddenly there was a loud noise.

Rumble! Rumble! “ I hear motorcycles, " said a man. A bolt of electricity flashed. Zap! The lights went out. When they came back on, everyone screamed. “ Our jewelry! ” a woman cried. “ Someone stole it! ”

“ Wow! ” said Jack. “ I can see Mars perfectly! ” Roxy and her friends were in Jack's backyard. They were using Jack’s new telescope. “ Can I have a turn now?” asked Mara. “ Sure, " said Jack. He stepped back and let Mara look through the telescope.

“ I see Mars! ” she said. “ It's red and rocky! " “ Do you see any Martians?” Terrell laughed. “ Ha-ha! ” Mara laughed too. “ I don't see any Martians! " Jack opened a book about space. “ Let's try to find this galaxy next! ”

He pointed to a colorful picture. “ Cool! " said Terrell. “ First we have to find it on your star chart. " Terrell unfolded the star chart. Roxy leaned in to look. “ We need to look between those two stars, " she said. Roxy pointed to two bright stars on the chart.
