Tiny People

Roxy watched the strange girl skip down West Street. “ La, la, la, la, la! ” the girl sang. “ That girl is shrinking things all over Metro City, " thought Roxy. “ I have to stop her before the entire city is gone! " As Roxy started to fly, she heard a sound.

Meow! A cat was looking at something on the sidewalk. Roxy looked down. “ Tiny people! " Roxy cried. Small, scared people were running away from the cat. “ Please help! ” someone cried. “ That cat is going to eat us! ” shouted another person.

Meow! The cat leaped through the air. Roxy caught the cat before it landed. “ Bad kitty! ” she said. “ You shouldn't eat people! " Roxy led the tiny people into a pizza shop. “ Stay here, " she said. “ I'm going to stop this shrinking right now! ”

Roxy ran back outside. “ Rocket Girl! ” screamed a tiny voice. “ Help me! ” “ Who needs help now?" Roxy wondered. She looked up and saw a hawk flying away. Roxy used her super vision. “ Uh-oh! ” Roxy cried. “ That hawk is flying away with a tiny man! ”

Roxy shot through the air. Zoom! “ Hand over that little man! ” Roxy yelled at the hawk. The hawk dropped the man and flew away. “ Oh no! ” the man shouted. “ I’m falling! ” Zoom! Roxy flew fast and caught the man.
