Monster Trucks

An armored truck drove along West Street. Two guards sat in the front. “ I'm glad there's no traffic, " said the driver. “ Yep, ” said the other guard. Suddenly-shwoosh! Something grabbed the truck. “ Whoa! ” cried the driver.

The truck crashed into a mailbox. A voice called out, “ Yee-ha! " Brumm! Brumm! “ Those monster trucks are awesome! " cried Mara. Roxy and her friends were at Metro City Arena. They were watching monster trucks.

The trucks were really loud. They all looked like different things. One truck looked like a gorilla. Another one had a shark's fin on top. Brumm! Brumm! A red and blue monster truck drove into the arena. The crowd cheered.

“ It's the Rocket Girl monster truck! ” Jack cried. Roxy smiled. The truck had a cape and two bunches of hair. Two arms stuck out over its front wheels. “ Cool! " said Terrell. “ It looks like Rocket Girl flying! ”

Brumm! Brumm! The Rocket Girl monster truck tore through the mud. Everyone cheered. “ I can't wait to see the truck crush those cars! ” said Jack. He pointed to a row of junky cars in the arena. The truck went up a dirt ramp and flew through the air.
