Xiaoman, or Grain Full, is one of the 24 Solar Terms in the Chinese calendar. It usually falls around May 20th.

During this time, the grains in the fields begin to grow and fill, but they are not fully mature yet. Farmers feel hopeful as they see their crops growing well.

Xiaoman is a sign that summer is coming. The weather gets warmer, and there is more rain. This rain helps the plants grow stronger.
