Dragon Master ANA GAMAL HOME Ana grew up in the Land of Pyramids. She currently lives in Bracken castle. STRENGTHS Ana has a positive, sunny personality. She is clever and is always figuring out new ways to use her dragon's powers. Ana is a good friend to all of the Dragon Masters who live in the castle.

BACKGROUND Ana lost her mother when she was a baby. Her father, Abrax, is a traveling merchant who sells beautiful fabrics. Growing up, Ana went with him on trips to faraway lands. She has seen more places in the world than many of the other Dragon Masters. DRAGON Kepri the Sun Dragon

ANA'S TIPS FOR MEETING PEOPLE I love meeting new people, don't you? When you are a Dragon Master, you will travel to many different lands. Some people will be happy to see you. Some people might be afraid of you and your dragon. Others might even seem angry! Don't worry. These tips should help things go smoothly whenever you meet someone new. Introduce Yourself Don't wait for someone to ask, "Who are you?" Start by saying your name. Then say something to put people at ease, such as, "I am friendly! My dragon and I are not here to hurt you." This helps calm people who think you or your dragon might want to harm them.

Ask Questions Asking questions can be a great way to get to know someone better. You might learn that you two have something in common. I like finding out about where a new friend grew up. And it's fun to ask Dragon Masters how they first connected with their dragons. Offer to help Some people won't tell you when they need help. So I always ask. I remember that when Petra first came to Bracken Castle she felt very nervous. I offered to show her around to help her feel more at home.

THE LAND OF PYRAMIDS This desert land is located south and east of Bracken. It takes thirty days to travel there by horse and boat. The Land of Pyramids was built on the banks of the River Ar. The great pyramids and temples were built on the riverbanks more than two thousand years ago. Pyramid of the Seven Dragons The prime Dragon Stone is hidden deep inside the Pyramid of the Seven Dragons. To reach it, six dragons are needed-and six Dragon Masters with sharp minds! Sand Dragons These dragons live in the desert sands. Each one has a valuable jewel in the middle of their forehead.

Today, there are several good schools teaching science there. And because of the river, the Land of Pyramids became a great trading center.
