Dragon Master RORI SMITH HOME Rori was born in the Kingdom of Bracken. She lives there still, now in King Roland's castle. STRENGTHS Rori is very brave, and she is a good problem solver. She is not afraid to fight for what she believes in. She has a strong will, which sometimes means she doesn't like to follow orders. And while she likes to argue with people, she rarely argues with her best friend, Ana. Key to the Castle The key Rori swiped from one of the castle guards isn't magic, but it is pretty close. She can use it to open any lock in the castle.

RORI'S TEAMWORK TIPS When I told Griffith I wanted to write about teamwork for this epic guidebook, he looked at me funny. "Rori, you have not always been good at working on a team," he said. But I told him that's exactly why I should be the one to write about this! Because I'm getting better at it, and I know how to explain it. Listen to Your Friends When you're planning a mission, you might think your idea is the best. (My ideas usually are!) But I learned that sometimes, other people have better ideas. Or, we can combine all of our ideas to make a really great new idea! So, remember to listen to your friends.

Stick with Your Friends Sometimes I do things on my own and forget that I have friends to help me. One time, I flew on Vulcan to battle Maldred all by myself. Eko says that was brave but foolish. I could have gotten hurt. Now I try to remember that our team is stronger when we work together. Like when Petra and Darpan teamed up to help summon the Star Dragon. Be Kind to Your Friends My best friend, Ana, is super nice all the time. I am not. Sometimes I say things without thinking first. Teams work better when everyone gets along. I try really hard to be thoughtful about what I say now. Ana says I'm doing a great job!

THE CRAFTERS' VILLAGE All of the makers in the Kingdom of Bracken live and work in this village. Rori's family lives here. Cailor's Shop The workers in this shop make fine clothes. Carpenter's Shop If you need a chair or a table, this is where to go. This is where I bought the carved box that holds the Dragon Stone. —Griffith Bows and Arrows These weapons can be used for hunting—or for defending the kingdom.

Bakery The baker provides the castle with one hundred loaves of bread every morning. Villagers can buy bread here or use the ovens to bake their own bread for a penny. Bucket Shop Wooden buckets are the best—and only—way to carry water from a well. Blacksmith's Shop William Smith, Rori's father, works here. He makes tools for farming, and his horseshoes are excellent.
