Dragon Master LUKAS NOVAK HOME Lukas lives on a mountaintop in the land of Casgore. He stays in a cottage next to the tower that contains the Time Dragon's clock. STRENGTHS As the Time Dragon's Dragon Master, Lukas has to learn how to operate and repair the magical clock that helps Maj use his powers. Lukas has a mechanical mind and is a fast learner. He is also very quick to tell jokes, and they often make his friends groan. Most Dragon Masters train with a wizard, but not Lukas. He trains with a master clockmaker named Jelena. —Griffith

BACKGROUND Lukas was adopted by his dads, Gustav and Daniel. They say he gets his sense of humor from Gustav and is good at solving problems, like Daniel. DRAGON Maj the Time Dragon

THE LAND OF CASGORE This land is known for its great, natural beauty— tall, snow-capped mountain peaks; sparkling lakes; and peaceful forests. Maj the Time Dragon has lived in Casgore for as long as anyone can remember. The first people of the land learned that if they cared for the Time Dragon, he would protect them in turn. Queen Valentina This queen has held the throne of Casgore for forty years. Her royal motto is "Live Well and Be Free," and her people call her "The Smiling One." She has vowed that anyone in the world who needs a safe place to live will be welcome in Casgore. Casgore is not far from the Land of Gothica. It is rumored that a Ghost Dragon lives in a castle there. —Griffith

Dragon MAJ THE TIME DRAGON Maj has some of the most impressive powers of any dragon. Where he comes from is unknown, but he once told Lukas that he is "as old as time itself." DRAGON MASTER Lukas Novak
