Dragon Mages URI AND ZELDA OMEGA HOME Uri and Zelda have always lived on the Dragon Islands. STRENGTHS Uri and Zelda have one of the most difficult jobs a Dragon Master can have. They must protect the world from the powerful Earthquake Dragon, the Naga. The Naga is so powerful that the Dragon Stone chose two Dragon Masters, not one! These twins are able to tap into the power of the Naga. This makes them Dragon Mages. It allows them to do things like float in the air and launch energy attacks at anyone who tries to control the Naga.

BACKGROUND Uri and Zelda's mother, Chandra, and her twin brother, Ravi, were also Dragon Masters for the Naga. The Twin Connection The Dragon Stone chooses twins for the Naga every time, and they all come from the same family. The Naga always has two Dragon Masters, probably because more than one is needed to control the massive dragon. DRAGON The Naga, also known as the Earthquake Dragon Most Dragon Masters do not become Dragon Mages until they are adults. I was surprised to learn that Uri and Zelda had become Dragon Mages at such a young age. Their strong minds— and the strong powers of the Naga— might explain why this has happened so fast. —Griffith

THE DRAGON ISLANDS This small group of islands sits in the middle of the ocean. There are sandy beaches, leafy jungles, and colorful flowers. But one island is inhabited only by the Naga's two Dragon Masters, and a small village of people who help take care of them. The Temple of the Naga is located underground. It was created by wizards many years ago. They used magic to keep the Naga safe in his home, deep beneath the surface of the planet. The wizards did their best to keep the Dragon Islands secret from the rest of the world. As a result, very few people have ever even visited there. The Naga is so large that his long body reaches many parts of the world. I have heard there might be a sort of "back door" to the Naga, as a way to reach the Naga in case anything ever happens to Dragon Island. —Griffith

Inside the Temple A layer of Dragon Stone under the temple floor helps Uri and Zelda communicate with the Naga deep in the earth. The Dragon Masters can open a door to reveal the Naga's eye. There are also two keys that can open the door: a Silver Key and a Gold Key. The keys fit inside the eyes of the dragon statue above the door. Anyone who uses the keys to open the door can control the Naga's Dragon Masters. And whoever controls them can control the Naga!

POWERS The Naga can cause earthquakes simply by turning his eye to a place. He uses the power of his mind to cause an earthquake there. The Naga can shoot powerful energy blasts from his eyes. POWER COLOR white SIZE This dragon is so large that there is no way to measure him! Training Tip Uri and Zelda's main job is to keep the Naga calm and safe. When they train, they are learning how to channel the Naga's power and use it themselves to defend the temple. The Naga may be the most powerful dragon in the world. —Griffith
