BACRCROUND Val grew up in the northern part of Aragon, with their younger sister named Julia and a baby brother named Mateo. Val's parents, Marta and Juan, sent Val to live with Grandmother Nita when they got word that she was living alone. Today, Val and Nita live in Diego's cottage with Val's cousin, Carlos. DOVE ISLAND "Dove Island is one of the most dangerous places in all of my queendom!" Queen Sofia told the Dragon Masters. It is part of a chain of islands that lie south of Aragon, in the Vast Ocean. It is home to many creatures that have adapted to its difficult terrain and wild weather. But no humans live there. high peaks You can try to climb these mountains, but it won't be easy to get up the uneven surface. And watch out for dangerous rock avalanches! Rushing Rivers It isn't easy to stay afloat in these swiftly moving waters. Thick Forest Between the cliffs and mountains is an overgrown jungle of trees and plants. Steep Cliffs If you arrive on the rocky beach by boat, it's nearly impossible to scale up these high cliffs. hidden Cave This cave leads to the rare and magical Dragon Tree.

Only on Dove Island The island gets its name from beautiful pink doves, which can only be found here. There is only one Dragon Tree in the world, and it grows in the middle of a mountain on Dove Island. Invisible Dragons must eat its magical fruit when they are babies.

Dragon FIG THE INVISIBLE DRAGON Fig's parents, sisters, and brothers live on the grounds of Queen Sofia's castle. But Fig lives in Diego's cottage, where she trains with Val. Fig and Lalo the Lightning Dragon have become good friends. POWERS Fig can become invisible at will. Her other powers have not been discovered yet. The Third horn Baby Invisible Dragons must eat fruit from the Dragon Tree on Dove Island before their third horn sprouts. If they don't, they will lose the ability to become invisible. When babies eat the fruit, their bodies glow with magical light from within. Color Clues All Invisible Dragons have scales that are a swirly mix of purple and blue-green. It can be hard to tell them apart. But Val quickly figured out that the fins around Fig's face are mostly blue-green, while Fig's siblings have mostly purple fins. Val, Diego and Carlos have found other ways to tell them apart. One has a solid green back, and another has only two bumps on her nose instead of three, like the others. Carlos spent time taking care of Fig's siblings and helped name them after fruits, just like their sister: Berry, Kaki, Mango, and Kiwi. —Diego
