STRENGTHS Jean is a wonderful inventor! She creates tools that she uses to defend her castle, such as catapults. She is the guardian of the Silver Key, and she takes her job very seriously. Jean's Catapults A catapult is a device that can launch objects into the air and send them flying very far. Jean's catapults have a heavy weight on one end and a basket of small rocks on the other end. When Jean cuts the rope, the weights drop and the rocks launch into the air. BACKGROUND Jean was raised by her mother, Amee, a master sword maker.

THE LAND OF GALLIA Gallia is a small land not far from Bracken just a short trip by boat across the Sea of Albion. It has been ruled by King Leon for almost fifty years. Most of the people of Gallia are farmers. But many live in its largest city, Parisi. That city is known for its great food, poetry, and art.

Lair of the Silver Dragon Jean Arcand does not live in the royal castle of Gallia. She lives in a stone castle on a hill in the countryside, far from the royal city. POWERS Argent can blast his enemies with his silver shine. When opponents attack, Argent can use his shiny wings to reflect their attack right back at them. Training Tip The only way for Argent to practice reflecting attacks is if he has another dragon to practice with. Jean may call on her new friends for help with practicing this power— although Argent is already really great at it!
