16 It's Not Over

CHAPTER 16 IT'S NOT OVER Zoltan disappeared into the bright pathway of light. Drake rushed over to the Dream Orb. When he grabbed it, the orb stopped spinning and the pathway disappeared. Sandor faced Drake. "Why did you close the pathway? We need to go after him! Zoltan will enter the Dream World and then he can carry out his evil plan, whatever that is."

Drake pointed to the spell book in Sandor's hands. "He said he needed his spell book to harness the Dream World's power. But we have it now." "And anyway, we couldn't let Zoltan trap you in there," Bo added. Sandor smiled. "Thanks. I don't want to be trapped anywhere with him ever again."

Drake patted the orb. "We should get this back to the Castle of the Wizards right away." "I won't be sorry to leave this castle," Sandor said. Drake instructed everyone to touch Worm and their dragons. Then they transported to Belerion in a flash of green light.

The sun was rising behind the Castle of the Wizards. Seagulls soared along the shore. Sandor took a deep breath. "The air smells so fresh here!" he said. Poof! Jayana appeared in front of them.

"Drake, Bo, what happened? And who are your new friends?" she asked. The Dragon Masters told the Head Wizard everything. Drake handed her the Dream Orb. Sandor gave her the spell book. "Job well done, Dragon Masters," Jayana said. "You returned the Dream Orb. And it's excellent that you brought me Zoltan's spell book. Sandor, I will find a new wizard to train you and Phantom." "A kind one, I hope," Sandor said. Jayana smiled. "We'll make sure of that." "What will you do about Zoltan?" Drake asked.

Jayana's smile faded. "That is a problem to solve. Zoltan may not have his spell book. But a wizard inside the Dream World can do a lot of damage." "He is also Maldred's biggest fan," Sandor added. "That is not good news," Jayana replied.
