15 Drake's Decision

CHAPTER 15 DRAKE'S DECISION Worm disappeared inside the bright light. Drake held his breath. Was Jayana right? Could Worm escape the Dream World? Zoltan turned back toward Phantom and Sandor. "Give me back my book!" the wizard yelled. "Never!" Sandor cried. Zoltan pointed at the boy and his dragon. But before he could attack...

Boom! Worm charged back out of the pathway, his body glowing green. "Worm, hit Zoltan with an energy blast!" Drake yelled.

Worm opened his mouth and blasted Zoltan with green energy. The wizard crashed into his worktable.

But the blow didn't stop him. Zoltan jumped to his feet, surrounded by red magic. "Book! Veni!" he cried. Sandor, still clutching the spell book, flew across the room. Zoltan's magic pulled them both toward him. Sandor landed next to Zoltan.

"I'll never let go of this!" Sandor promised. "Then you're coming with me!" Zoltan said. No! Drake thought. I can't let Sandor get trapped in the Dream World! Zoltan reached for Sandor with a glowing red arm... Bam! Drake pushed the wizard, sending him flying toward the path leading to the Dream Gate!
