颐和园

The Summer Palace, located in Beijing, China, is a famous classical imperial garden.

It features Longevity Hill, which is 60 meters high, and the man-made Kunming Lake, covering 2. 2 square kilometers.

The entire park spans 2. 9 square kilometers, three-quarters of which is water.

The palace contains various palaces, gardens, and classical-style architectural structures.

Built in 1750 as the Garden of Clear Ripples, the Summer Palace imitates various Chinese palaces' architectural styles.

Despite suffering major attacks in 1860 and 1900, it was rebuilt and renamed Yihe Yuan in 1888.
