公主与豌豆

The Princess and the Pea The prince is not happy. He wants to marry a princess. He looks everywhere. He cannot find a princess. He meets many princesses. Some are too old. Some are too small or too big. Some are not beautiful. One day, a girl comes to his castle. It is raining. " I'm a princess, " she says. " I need a bed. " The prince likes the girl. But he does not think she is a princess. He has an idea. The prince makes a bed for her. He puts a pea under 23 mattresses!

The next morning, the prince talks to the girl. " I am black and blue, " she says. " Your bed is so hard. " The prince thinks, " Only a princess can feel the pea under those mattresses! Only a princess is so soft. " He asks, " Will you marry me?" The prince and his princess take the pea to a museum. Now everyone can see it.
