Reading Practice A. Read the passage. Rockwood Community Events April 26 is a holiday! There will be a parade at noon. It will start and end at East Park. It is open to the whole community, so please inform your friends! If you want to march in the parade, call Bonnie at 555-8976. The Spring Festival begins on April 28. There will be food and sports at East Park. The fun begins at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome! On April 29, Beth Cane will appear in City Lights. Come and support her at the Oak Theater! The play is directed by history teacher Carl Jackson. It starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per person. Remember, mail will not be delivered on the 26th, but you will get your newspaper as usual.
