The Hands for Me

When I came into this world, there were two hands for me . Warm and gentle, the hands carried me. When I learned to walk, there were two hands for me. Safe and strong, the hands followed me.

When I went to school for the first time, there were two hands for me. Tight and firm, the hands led me.

When Mom was not at home, there were two hands for me. Clever and magic, the hands made me more beautiful. When I was in a match, there were two hands for me. Happy and cheerful, the hands made me full of strength.

When I did not do well on my exam, there were two hands for me. Understanding and encouraging, the hands softly wiped my tears. When I left for college, there were two hands for me. Slowly and carefully, the hands touched me.

When I got married, there were two hands for me. Old and rough, the hands made me feel a little sad.
