Meet Wilbur and Orville Wright. These brothers flew the first airplane in 1903! These photos show Wilbur (top) and Orville (right) as young boys.

Wilbur and Orville grew up in many places. They loved to learn new things. This is what desks looked like when the Wright brothers went to school.

One day Wilbur got hurt playing hockey. It took Wilbur three years to get better. Wilbur spent the time with his mom. This is where the Wrights lived when Wilbur got hurt.
