The Moaning Ghost My dad fixes pianos and organs. One night, he asked me to come with him. “ Oh no! ” I thought as I saw the house we were going to. All my friends and I knew this place was haunted. There were always strange moaning sounds coming from it. “ Dad, there is a moaning ghost in there! ” We rang the doorbell and went inside. As we walked in. I could hear that terrible, low moaning sound from before. “ Did you hear that, Dad?” I asked. My dad just smiled.

In one of the rooms, I could see a very large organ with long pipes that went to the ceiling. My dad went around to the back of the organ, closed something, and the low moaning sound suddenly stopped. He said, " The wind was blowing across the top of the pipes. This caused the organ to make sounds. That was your famous moaning ghost! " So, it turned out that the moaning ghost was just a noisy old organ!
