Knitting

Knitting Kelly finished making her snowman. She went inside Grandma's warm house. Grandma sat in a chair, knitting a sweater. Kelly watched her grandma's knitting needles move fast. “ Click, click, ” said the needles. “ Would you like to try?” asked Grandma. “ Okay, ” said Kelly. Grandma handed Kelly a set of knitting needles. She guided Kelly's fingers through the stitches. Soon, Kelly was knitting by herself. “ What are you making?” asked Grandma.

“ A blanket for my bed, ” said Kelly. She worked, and worked, and worked on her blanket. But it was way too small for a bed. “ Click, click, ” said Grandma's needles. “ I changed my mind, " said Kelly. " I'm making a blanket for my doll. " Kelly worked, and worked, and worked. But still, her blanket was too narrow to be a doll blanket. “ Click, click, ” said Grandma's needles. Kelly finished the row she was knitting. " I changed my mind! " exclaimed Kelly as she pulled on her snow boots. “ I made a scarf for my snowman! ”
