Plant A Seed We all know what plants are. You may have one in a glass jar on your desk. Or, you may have a flower in your garden. A tree is really just a plant that grows every year and has branches! One thing we know is that people would not be here on earth without plants. Plants are our medicine, our furniture and our clothes. Your cotton shirt comes from plants and trees. Your lunch is made of rice, corn or wheat. How about your salad?It's all made of plants.

My baseball bat, my pencil, my paper, the chair I am sitting on-all these things came from amazing little plants. Did I say little?Of course, not all plants are little. Did you know that some trees live several thousands of years and grow to be 115 metres tall?That's like a 35-storey apartment building! And it started out as a little seed! Plants have taken care of us for thousands of years and hopefully will continue to do so for a long, long time! So take care of your plants and trees. Take care of yourself and plant a seed.
