City of Lights

City of Lights About 4, 000 years ago there was a tribe. The tribe lived in a valley by a wide river. The river was surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. It was warm in the summer and not too cold in the winter.

For thousands of years, people have lived in this place. Now, there is a big city on that spot. It's famous for a tower called the Eiffel Tower. People who live there speak French. From all over the world, people come to see the beautiful Seine River, the wonderful buildings and the art. The name of the tribe was the Parisii. Today we call it Paris, " The City of Lights" .
