Cooking Fish

Cooking Fish Sarah is Joe's sister. When mom and dad are not home, Sarah is the chef of the house. “ Let's have fish for lunch, ” Sarah says. “ It will be as easy as making cookies. I will just have to increase the oven temperature a little bit. " Sarah heats the oven to maximum power. She takes the fish out of the freezer. She puts it in the oven. Then, she sets the table with two plates, two forks and two knives. Joe is hungry. " How much longer do we have to wait?" he asks. “ Not long, ” answers Sarah.

After ten minutes, Sarah takes the fish out of the oven. It's golden and crispy. " It's better than mom's! " Sarah thinks. “ Wow! You are a great chef! ” says Joe. “ You are right. Now, let's eat. ” But when they try to cut the fish, they realize something is wrong. The fish is still frozen inside! “ It needs a bit more time, ” Sarah says as she puts the fish back in the oven. Fifteen minutes later, she smells something burning. When she takes the fish out, it looks like black coal. Sarah says, " Sorry, Joe. It looks like we will have to eat instant noodles for lunch today. ”
