Playing in the Rain!

Playing in the Rain! I like to play. I like to play in the rain. But, there is a problem. I can't walk. I sit in a wheelchair all day. Does that mean I can't go outside when it rains?No, of course not. When I am outside, I need my hands to move the wheelchair. So, I can't carry an umbrella. Do I get wet?Not really. I wear an umbrella hat. People smile when they see me wearing an umbrella hat. It looks funny. They try hard to be polite and not laugh. Margaret is my best friend. She likes rainy days too. We like doing things together. We splash in puddles in the rain and we sing.

Oh, there is one thing we have to watch out for. We have to be careful not to get too wet or our moms will be upset But, we still love playing in the rain!
