How can this hurt?Well, think about this. There are 3, 500 drops of water in one litre. Add up all the drips coming from the leaking tap in the bathroom and that is a lot of wasted water. When Brian's father gets home, Brian says, " I want to do something to save water in our house. ” Brian and his father fix the taps. This makes Brian very happy. His father says, " Now, let's see what else we can do to save more water. "
They learn that they can save 8 litres of water in one minute if they turn the tap off while they brush their teeth. If they shower for one minute less, they will save 40 litres of water. It all adds up. Start with the small things and see what you can do.
