Gerry

Gerry Gerry screamed. He jumped up and down and he stamped his feet. He was so young that he couldn't talk well enough to tell his parents what he was looking for. So, he ran through the house. He ran into the kitchen and pulled out all the pots and pans. But the thing he was looking for wasn't there. So, he kicked the pots and pans. Then, he ran into the living room and dumped out his mother's sewing basket. But the thing he was looking for wasn't there either. So he kicked the basket across the room.

He ran into the bathroom and looked behind the toilet and under the tub. He kicked the tub and hurt his toe. “ You'll feel better after your nap, ” his mother said, as she carried Gerry into his bedroom. Gerry stopped screaming and smiled. There was his teddy bear right on his bed—exactly where it had been the whole time.
