Love of Dragons (based on a traditional Chinese story) Once there was a man named Lord Ye. He was well known for his love of dragons. Everywhere in his home, there were dragons. They were carved on his doors and windows, painted on his walls, and sewed on his clothes. Way up in the heavens, the Dragon King learned about this. He decided to go down to visit Lord Ye. Later, when Lord Ye was having his midday nap, a thunderstorm began.
A huge dragon thrust his head through Lord Ye's window, his tail blocking the door and his eyes shining like lanterns. Lord Ye was frightened. He hid under his bed. He covered his head with his hands and trembled with fear. He did not dare open his eyes. The Dragon King was disappointed. He left, wondering why Lord Ye was so frightened by him. From then on, Lord Ye no longer claimed to love dragons.
