What Colour Is That? Allan's father wears a suit with a shirt and tie to work. Sometimes, the shirt is blue. Sometimes, it's green. Sometimes, it's white. But every morning, he needs Allan's help to get a tie that matches his shirt. What's the problem? Allan's father is colour blind. He cannot tell green from red. He cannot tell blue from green. Nearly one in ten men has some kind of colour-blindness. The most common kind is red-green. But some people cannot see any colours at all.
Imagine how hard that is! Think of how dull the world looks to someone who cannot see colours! Luckily, Allan's father has Allan to help him out. Still. it's a problem he lives with every day.
