12. A Party for Parents “ Today is a special day for Mom and Dad, ” said Nick. “ Let's throw a party for them, ” said Sara. They put balloons in the family room. They wanted to make a cake, but their parents were in the kitchen. So they drew a picture of a cake. They invited their brother, sister, and grandma to the party. When their parents entered the family room, they yelled, “ Happy Anniversary! ” What a surprise!
