4 Our Changing Teeth-1 Do you know that our teeth are changing as we grow? Around the age of eight months, our first teeth begin to grow. The middle teeth in the front of our mouth come first. Then, the teeth at the sides. And finally, the ones at the very back of the mouth. There are 20 teeth in total. These teeth are called baby teeth. But these teeth won't be with us for long.

I only have four teeth.
