Every day, Ms. Frizzle wears a crazy dress. She wears crazy shoes. Ms. Frizzle's class can be crazy, too. SHE DRIVES A CRAZY SCHOOL BUS. IT'S MAGIC!

Today, something is really crazy. There is no heat in school. It is very cold. We can't take off our coats. IT IS COLD LIKE THE ARCTIC. We are learning about animals that live in the Arctic. It is cold there, too. I BET ITS COLDER HERE THAN IN THE ARCTIC! GOOD THINKING, ARNOLD. LET'S FIND OUT!

We get on the Magic School Bus. It starts to spin. When it stops, it is the Magic School Jet! NOW I'M DIZZY! DIZZY AND COLD! We are flying to the Arctic! WHERE DID THESE SNOWSUITS COME FROM? WHO CARES? THEYRE WARM!

Soon we land. It is daytime, but it is almost dark. Ms. Frizzle says the Arctic is dark for much of the winter. IT SEEMS SO LATE! HAVE WE MISSED LUNCH? We get out of the bus. All we can see is snow and ice. It is much colder than our school. ITS SO COLD IN THE ARCTIC! DO ANIMALS REALLY LIVE HERE?
