Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4 PRESIDENT PROBLEMS After the children went home for the day, Fergus and Zeke climbed out of their cage. Miss Maxwell had put away most of the craft supplies, but Zeke found some markers and a poster board someone had put in the recycling bin.

"Look, Zeke!" he called. "If we turn this over, we can make our poster on the other side." "Great!" Zeke said. "Let me help, too!" He collected all the spare bits of yarn from the maker space.

He swept up all the spilled glitter from the floor... and rescued two glue sticks from the trash.

Then Fergus and Zeke set to work. They wore their president costumes for inspiration. "This was a great idea you had for our project," Zeke said. "Thank you," said Fergus. "I couldn't have done it without your help." Fergus and Zeke checked their notes. They sketched out their poster. They used their very best handwriting and made their art extra colorful.

Then they jumped into their cage just as Miss Maxwell opened the classroom door. Soon, the students arrived. Fergus and Zeke watched them share their projects.
