花生琼斯 · 3 Peanut Jones and the End of the Rainbow
41 Look Up Josephine went first. She lowered herself carefully through the hole in the bottom of the pool and began crawling on her hands and knees along the dry chute. Rockwell followed, as 72 made their way back towards the stairs. 'I can see daylight,' said Josephine after about ten minutes of scrambling through the twisting chute. At the end of it
was an opening, about a metre wide. 'Thank the maker! I can't wait to get out of here. My knees are so sore!' said Rockwell. 'I think I've taken most of the skin off!' As they approached the opening, the sound of the pandemonium in the lake got louder and louder. The panic- stricken voices drifting into the tunnel painted a vivid picture of the scene. 'It's like a Louy said Josephine as she looked out of the chute at the crowds below. 'Or maybe a Bosch.' 'I don't know who either of those people are,' said Rockwell, peering over her shoulder. 'But if they painted hellish-looking scenes showing lots of scared people trapped under a giant cage, then I totally concur with your observation!' 'Right,' said Josephine, snapping back into rescue mode. 'What did 72 say to do when we got here?' 'They said to look up,' replied Rockwell. Both of them did as they were told. And then they wished they hadn't.
