50 Is it a Bird, Is it a Plane

50 Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane? 'This way!' shouted Peanut as she darted between the giant ice cream and the massive sunflower. Doodle grabbed the marker-pen rope around Lulu's ankles with his teeth and tugged it hard, causing the panda to topple backwards. He then sprinted down the alleyway after the three children. ' CONSPIRATORS! HALT!' roared Lulu Kawaii. She snapped the rope and leaped to her feet with incredible speed. Then she ran after the gang. Peanut, Rockwell, Little-Bit and Doodle dashed along a road parallel to the Strip that was paved with pink-and-yellow-

chequered cake. It was soft and spongy and, after a few seconds, their cake-coated feet became heavy, making running impossible. 'Behind those bushes! Quick!' yelled Peanut. To their left was a low, pale-pink hedge. They dived behind it. As the four of them crouched down, Peanut spotted Little-Bit grabbing a fistful of the pink shrubbery. ' Mmmm. Candyfloss!' she said, shovelling it into her mouth. Mum never normally let them have this much sugar. ' Sssh! She's coming,' said Rockwell. Lulu Kawaii was making her way slowly up the pink and yellow path towards them. Little-Bit, seemingly unaware of the seriousness of their situation, was wolfing down the pink, wispy confectionary as if she hadn't eaten for months. 'LB. Stop,' whispered Peanut urgently. The little girl turned to her sister, looking a little sheepish, and let out the deepest, loudest, longest burp in the history of the human digestive system. Immediately, Lulu's red eyes swivelled towards them. 'I HAVE YOU NOW!' Suddenly they heard a whistle from above their heads. They looked up. ' Is... is that a flying sideboard?' said Rockwell. ' Er, I think it might be,' replied Peanut. Sure enough, floating a few metres above their heads

was a beautiful piece of antique furniture, made from solid walnut. On top of it, crouched in a surfing position, was a very muscular man dressed in a dark brown spandex bodystocking with a big 'TG' logo on the chest and a long, green cloak billowing out to the rear. Behind him was a levitating coffee table, a hovering dresser, a gravity-defying writing desk and a flying bedside cabinet. 'Who are you?' shouted Rockwell. 'Greetings citizen!' shouted the man. 'I am Table Guy! Fighting for truth, justice and a really good place to sit down and eat your dinner! Hurry! Grab a beautifully turned cabriole leg and pull yourselves up!'
