The snowman

The Snowman

It's wintertime. Rabbit wakes up to find the world white with snow. She runs outside and hops up and down in the snow.

"I'm going to make a snowman!" she says. "Wait! I will invite my friends, and we will make the snowman together!" Bear, Mouse, Bird and Pig come.

Bear makes a big snowball. "This will be the snowman's body." Mouse makes a small snowball. "This will be the snowman's head."

Rabbit finds two carrots. "These will be the snowman's ears." Bird finds two twigs. "These will be the snowman's wings."

Pig finds an onion. "This will be the snowman's snout." Then Mouse and Bear each put a stone as the snowman's eyes.
