The Season Book

I am an oak tree. In spring, my branches stretch out after a long winter's rest.

Birds nesting on me sing a morning song. Bees and butterflies dance around me.

In summer, children run around me playing hide-and-seek. I lower my branches and green leaves to the ground, so they have more places to hide.

I give them shade. They give me lots of joy.

In autumn, my leaves flutter from my body and my acorns fall to the ground. Squirrels gather my acorns for winter. Children gather them for fun.
