2 The Swap

The Swap After breakfast everyone was ready for Swapsy Day. "Good luck, Bird! See you later on," said Bear.

Bird had her lucky hat on and was ready to make some deals.

"I'll swapsy this feather for that kite," said Mouse. "DEAL!" said Bird. "I'll swapsy this pencil for that piano," said Hedgehog. "DEAL!" said Bird.

"I'll swapsy this rock for that model railway," said Cat. "DEAL!" said Bird. Bird liked Swapsy Day. She especially liked shouing" DEAL!" when she'd made a swapsy. Then Pig came along.

"T'll swapsy this potato for that bouncy ball," said Pig. "Deal!" said Bird. And Pig bounced the ball off into the woods.

Hang on, thought Bird, that's not my ball. Oh, dear. Bear must have accidentally left it in my pully- truck. I've got to get it back for him. Bird went looking for Pig.
