7 The New Neighbor

Kitty AND DRAGON THE NEW NEIGHBOR

One night, Kitty wakes up to a strange noise.

Kitty nudges Dragon. "Did you hear that?" she asks. Dragon and Kitty go outside. They look down. They look around. They do not see anything.

Kitty shivers. "I wonder what made that spooky sound," she says. Dragon gives Kitty a big hug. He stays awake until she falls asleep.

Early the next morning, a big shadow falls over the cave!

A fluffy bird lands next to Kitty. "Hello!" he says. "My name is Owl. I am your new neighbor!" "Did you hear the loud screech last night?" Kitty asks. "That was me," Owl says. "I love to stay up late and sing."
