And they danced and feasted all day long, until it was dark, and Woodpecker was finished pecking a hole in the hard wood of the tree. "Wow," said Rabbit, yawning. "That was the best party ever." "Yes," said Bear, yawning. "I don't want it to be over!" said Rabbit. "I hate silence! I want Woodpecker to keep going all night! All tomorrow! All week! Forever!" "Well," said Bear sleepily, "now that the hole is finished, the nest will soon be full of little woodpeckers. And they will grow up fast, and need somewhere to live. More wood pecking. More parties."

"You're right," said Rabbit sleepily. "Goodnight, Bear."
