Surfing Summer

Deep underwater, there was a mermaid called Jarva.

Jarva was clever. She cared about everybody, and people came to her for help. Jarva was good at making spells. She had a workshop in an underwater cave.

Jarva was hard at work making a spell, when Summer burst into the workshop.

"Jarva! I need your help," said Summer, in a rush. "What's the matter, Summer?" said Jarva.

"I wish I was at the top! I wish to go up onto land and be like the people there," said Summer.
