The Lurking Turnips

Mum was in the garden with a full hamper. Asher said, "Can I help pick?"

"See this turnip?" said Mum. "Pull it up at the stem. Harder!"

Asher began to look at the turnip and sniff it, and said, "Turnips are horrid!"

"Turnips can be good. It is turnip mash for dinner tonight, Asher," said Mum.

"Arthur, help me get the turnips," said Mum. But Arthur hid the turnips.
