CHAPTER 12 BARON VON GRUMP KNEW JUST what he needed to cheer himself up. "I know just what I need to cheer myself up," he said. See? I told you he knew. He was cold and soggy and very tired. "A nice bubble bath," he said. "A nice, warm bubble bath will cheer me up!" Baron Von Grump turned on the hot water. He poured in the bubbles. And while the water ran, Baron Von Grump gathered his tub things. He gathered his robe. He gathered his slippers. He gathered a fresh towel and a long-handled scrub brush for washing his

back. He gathered his bar of soap and his bath pillow and his favorite toy boat. "Nothing like a warm bubble bath to relax," he said. "Quack!" said a duck. "Quack! Quack!" said two more ducks. "Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack!" said a whole bunch of ducks. A whole bunch of ducks swimming in Baron Von Grump's bathtub. A whole bunch of ducks playing in Baron Von Grump's bubbles.

You might say that Baron Von Grump was in a very fowl mood. "Very funny. I'll bet you're just quacking yourself up, aren't you?" Quack. (That means The End.)
