Chapter TWO When we had finished our tea, we went to find Zoe's mum. 'Can you help us with our cake now?' asked Zoe. 'We want to make one like the one we just saw on Sponge and Sprinkles!' 'It was huge,' I said. With five different layers-all different flavours. Coffee, chocolate, raspberry, lemon,

and pumpkin!' I had never seen such a wonderful cake before. Zoe's mum laughed. You'll need a lot of ingredients for a cake like that,' she said. 'I'll have to go to the supermarket, if you're serious.' 'We ARE serious,' said Zoe. 'We really want to win the tickets.' Zoe's mum looked at her watch. Well, alright,' she said. 'I'll pop there now. We need some fish for dinner, anyway. Dad's in the garden, if you need anything.' 'Oh thank you,' said Zoe, jumping up and down. While we waited for Zoe's mum to come back, we went up to Zoe's bedroom.

I love Zoe's bedroom, as it is always so interesting. She has butterflies painted on her walls and loads of posters stuck up on her wardrobe door. She also has the biggest dressing-up box of everyone I know.
