Chapter FOUR We all made our way out of my bedroom and along to Dad's special astronomy tower. He loves looking at the stars and has a special telescope. It is his favourite hobby. Aunt Crystal put her eye to the telescope and peered upwards into the now-darkening sky.

'Mm-hmm,' she said. And then, 'Hmm, hmm.' She got a piece of paper and began to scribble some little pictures onto it. 'There you go!' she said, handing me a map. I stared down at the tiny stars and then peered through the telescope myself.

I could see exactly where she wanted me to go. There was a trail of extra bright stars leading all the way across the sky. Bravely I stuffed the map into my pocket and took a deep breath. 'I had better get going then,' I said. 'It's going to take a while to get there.' Snow Boy bit his lip. He looked nervous about going to a new place. He picked up Snow Bunny and hugged her close, stroking her icy fur. Mum looked worried too. 'You can't go on your own,' she said. What if you get lost? I think I should come with you.' 'I won't get lost,' I promised. 'And I

don't need you to come with me. I made Snow Boy and so it's my responsibility to get him to the Land of Ice and Snow. I can do it on my own.' 'But'—said Mum, wringing her hands in worry— you can't fly all that way! Your wings are only small.' 'I agree,' said Dad. 'You'll get too tired! I should take Snow Boy

I peered out of the window at the snowy garden, which was glowing bright white in the dusky light. What if we made a sleigh out of the magic snow?' I suggested.
