'Put these on!' she ordered, holding the jewels out towards me. 'I...' I started to object. 'Oh go on,' the Princess said. No one ever comes to play with me. I glanced up at the surface of the water again. It was getting lighter by the second. 'I can't,' I said. I'm sorry but I really have to go. Can I have the comb back now, please?'
